Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The data controller is akApp Studio (unregistered business activity under Polish law), contact: contact.mapelo@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

On the mapelo.app website (landing page):

• Email address — only when you voluntarily enter it in the early adopters sign-up form.
• Browser language (PL/EN) and submission date — automatically when the form is submitted.

In the Mapelo app:

• Customer data you enter (names, addresses, phone numbers, notes, photos) — stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (localStorage) on your device. This data is never sent to any server.
• GPS location — used only for the "Nearby customers" feature and map display. Location data never leaves your device and is not stored anywhere.

3. Purpose of processing

• Email addresses — to notify you about the app launch and early adopter promotions (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent).
• App data — to provide the customer management service (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract/service).

4. Where we store data

• Email addresses — in a Google Sheets spreadsheet on the controller's account (Google servers, secured by Google's standards). Google may process data in the EEA or USA in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Customer data in the app — exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your device. We have no access to this data. Clearing browser data or uninstalling the app permanently deletes it.

5. Who we share data with

Nobody. We do not sell, share, or transfer personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. The only entity processing email data is Google (as the spreadsheet infrastructure provider).

6. How long we keep data

• Email addresses — until the app launch notification is sent, after which they will be deleted unless you consent to further communication.
• App data — as long as you keep it in your browser.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access your data
• Rectify your data
• Erase your data (right to be forgotten)
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise these rights, email contact.mapelo@gmail.com. We will delete your data within 72 hours.

8. Cookies

The mapelo.app website and the Mapelo app do not use cookies for tracking or analytics. We do not use any tracking tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.).

9. Changes to this policy

We will announce significant changes on mapelo.app. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
